1. General Terms

Platform Role
YetKnown.org is a user-generated event platform. We do not organize or operate events and are not liable for cancellations, damages, or disputes between users.

Acceptable Use
You agree to follow applicable laws and avoid content or conduct that is unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or harmful to others.

Enforcement
We reserve the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or take other actions if terms are violated. Fraud or abuse may be reviewed based on user reports.

2. Event Organizer Terms

Responsibilities
Organizers are responsible for the accuracy, safety, and legal compliance of their events, including any required permits or licenses. Event details should be truthful and clearly presented.

Fees and Payouts
There is no platform fee for the first $2000 of ticket sales per user. After that, a 2% platform fee applies. Stripe’s standard processing fee (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) applies to all ticket sales. Organizers may request manual payouts via check, Zelle, or Venmo by contacting us at info@yetknown.org starting 7 days after the event ends.

Taxes
Organizers are responsible for determining and reporting any taxes related to their ticket revenue. YetKnown.org does not collect or remit taxes on behalf of organizers.

3. Ticketing, Refunds & Disputes

Secure Payment
All ticket purchases are processed via Stripe. YetKnown.org does not store any full payment information.

Refund Policy
Ticket buyers will be eligible for a refund if they submit reasonable proof within 7 days after the event and one of the following applies:

• The event was canceled or did not take place
• The event time or location was changed without reasonable effort to notify ticket holders ahead of time
• The attendee was denied entry despite having a valid ticket
• The event was unsafe, fraudulent, or grossly misrepresented

If an organizer agrees to a refund for any reason, they should contact us at info@yetknown.org to help process the refund. Buyer-submitted requests should include reasonable proof. YetKnown.org will review all refund requests and make a final decision at our discretion.

Dispute Resolution
In case of conflicting refund or payout claims, YetKnown.org will review all relevant information and determine the appropriate resolution. All parties are expected to cooperate during this process.

4. Terms Updates

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of the latest version. Major changes will be communicated via email or platform notifications.
